1. I hate this question. “What is your favorite video game?”. Its always changing. I never have a definite favorite video game of all time because as time progresses old favorites get dated. Pokemon has been a big part of my life but I wouldn’t necessarily call it my favorite game. At the moment my favorite game is Persona 4 Arena. Last year it was Dragons Dogma. But people all say they have that game that is just “perfect”. I don’t have that. Even Ocarina of Time seems dated now.
4. Favorite Game character is Chosen Undead from Dark Souls. Yeah he/she counts. They are the one undead that no matter what happens, holds onto their humanity or at least the hope for it. They can be good or evil but in the end their courage prevails eventually so long as you the player keep playing. They’re not an over powered hero like Master Chief and Link who always end up winning, You experience Chosen Undeads pain and victory and even seem to become stronger with them as they progress. Overall C.Us my favorite because of the bond they create with the player. Cursed One is alright too but their end game motivation doesn’t fit with the previous game. You at least had a choice in DAS 1 and neither of the options were necessarily bad ones. There is no “bad end” in DAS unless you give up.
5. Least favorite game character? At the moment its Peacock from Skullgirls. She just so spam happy when all of the other characters are basically all melee. I don’t have a lot of characters I straight up hate. Ashley Williams from Mass Effect is definitely up there. From my perspective, she’s a human elitist and a racist. I get you’re skeptical about other races but the point of Mass Effect was Shepard could overcome those boundaries and help his fellow sentient. Ashley never seems to change. Not to mention she shot Wrex! I had load up a save to save him and I never forgave her for it. For some reason I saved her instead of Kaidan vowing if she ever did something to piss me off again then its over.
And guess what. In Mass Effect 3 she turns her gun against you. You’re dam right I shot her.
