If any of you are going to Ohayocon PLEASE contact security and let them know about this. Everyone deserves to have a safe and fun convention and this behavior is unacceptable, not just at a convention but anywhere period.
I know this is horrible and should be prevented, but its not like anime conventions make it easy for stuff like this to happen or anything. When I volunteered at a neighboring con called Youmacon, they gave volunteers rooms to sleep in for the night. What they didn’t tell us was that we’d be crowded in together. I was put in a room with 4 under aged girls who said it was perfectly fine to sleep in the bed with them. Being the chivalrous citizen I am, I declined and slept on the bathroom floor to avoid any misunderstanding. People trust everyone at conventions to be friendly and they usually are. But congoers and the security should never let their guard down.
