I have been rocking the Catarina Helm for all 3 games. It’s the best helmet in the series.
Seath: This guy I just defeated and kidnapped… He escaped from his cell and has been smacking Manserpant asses for the last 20 minutes. I’ll have to research him more..
Through all 3 games I liked Dex weapons. Curved swords. But it seems the creators have a big boner with big weapons and that annoys me. When its PVP its one thing but in 3′s case I don’t play PVP because my computer can hardly keep up. But there’s this huge bias with huge str weapons where dex weapons are just not as effective against bosses and even some enemies. 3 is the closest I think they’ve gotten to bridging the gap but once you hit end game you really have to big a giant sword or spend a really really long time dodging precisely and that gets annoying after awhile. I want Dark souls to have all weapons seem viable in the PVE. I’m not just talking about str vs dex either.
There’s no way a flaming hardened arrow should do 58 damage to the boss while a giant club does 200. I want bowmen to have targeted areas to aim to do more damage or affect how the battle plays out. If a dragon’s charging you and you shoot it in the eye, it should directly affect how it attacks. I’m not saying it needs to be as precise and detailed as Monster Hunter but it would bring a new style of play that I was hoping was better in DAS2 but it really wasn’t.
Really I like small swords and feel its rewarding when you time rolls, attack rapidly until you cause an enemy to bleed, and still be able do enough damage without lugging a big stick around. If DAS4 ever came around I would like to see smaller weapons do substantial damage but degrade much faster and bigger weapons use more stamina in general to really try to make it hard to decide if you should go STR or DEX or if you should go both with the bow and arrow or maybe an INT build but I’ve never been particularly fine with the selection of spells in any of the dark souls games.
Also a guy named Guts the Berserk tried to help me fight the Nameless king. He was dressed as Dark Souls 2′s protagonist

Started DASIII over again in an attempt to actually follow questlines. This playthrough was much easier. 20/20 Str/Dex and kept attacking succbois until I got a Dark Sword and now I’m peachy keen.
Rate my Unkindled One. I figured a lot of NPC Invaders have titles along with their names so I got one too. All I need though is my god damn Onion helmet.
