Want to hear something funny?

I’ve been trying to get Romilda in my X game. Romilda is a shiny female Infernape I just happened to get when I first started Pokemon Platinum. She’s the only shiny I’ve ever cared about. Though I never bought Pokemon BW or BW2 so I can’t move her from my Soul Silver. I’ve been hearing that shinies are easier to breed using the Matsuda method so I figured I’d give it a try. Got another Chimchar from Italy and began breeding like crazy.

I finally decided to give up for now and finish the game already.  I’m pretty sure the mother has gone through 200 babies by now. But here’s the funny thing.

That mother has been getting stronger with each lap I took up and down the lane. When I took her out, she just so happened to be Level 45. Exactly one level above my strongest pokemon, Braixen. She’s the new Romilda until I get that Shiny.

Also I’ve been only saving the female chimchars so if you want one give me a holler. I have about 12
