I only recently got into Kevin Smith movies like…..6 months ago. So I had to laugh when I saw Jason Mewes in “Noobz”. Now I know he’s been in other stuff but its only now that I notice he’s starring in something without Kev. I mean. He’s essentially the directors best friend. Kevin Smith directly said in one of his interviews that he’d do his directing thing and come back and put him in a movie. But to see him in this?

I saw the trailer for Noobz and I was like “Yeah you’re out of a job Jason. Go do something else. Your weird movie director friend is doing his thing now with his super hot bass playing daughter.” But I just saw it and I gotta say..wow man.

I mean Noobz was nothing but another K.S. movie. Crude humor with heart. They never feel played out like some of the Adam Sandler movies though. Its weird seeing Jay make a name for himself. Even if all his characters are essentially the same.

I don’t know why I picked up on this after watching it. I’m just glad the guy is still doing stuff.
