Also a guy named Guts the Berserk tried to help me fight the Nameless king. He was dressed as Dark Souls 2′s protagonist
I’m geeking out right now about Dark Souls as a series because of the “decisions” i’ve made.
First off. In my “official” playthough of Dark Souls 1, I didn’t link the flame. In Dark Souls 2, I didn’t take the throne and now I’m at the end of DAS3. Now I’m laughing and I’ll explain why.
Pontiff Sulyvahn supposedly is some dick head who convinced someone not to link the fire.

That person just so happens to be royalty. Pontiff (if I have my lore right) convinced the twins princes, Lothric and Lorian to not link the fire.

Stay with me here.
A.My Dark Souls 1 character was against linking the Flame just like Pontiff and the Twins.
B. My Dark Souls 2 character refuses the throne. The twins ARE royalty.
C. My Dark Souls 3 character is FOR linking the flame, against the royalty that stands in his way and to put insult to injury, he just killed the twins with the Profaned sword. The sword that belonged to Pontiff Sulyvahn.

It’s no big deal but i’m reading up on lore and the irony is killing me over here.

LOOK AT THIS LITTLE GUY

HE’S SO FRAIL

HE’S LIKE A SCRAWNIER MORE PATHETIC SEATH

NO FUCK THIS. I REFUSE TO FIGHT THIS GUY.

THIS IS FINE
I’m enjoying Dark Souls 3 (At the lowest settings possible) so far.
I’m enjoying being completely lost since the game isn’t as linear as 2 and the bosses all seem challenging but fair. The villagers and monsters really make me feel like DAS is in the same universe as Bloodborne (And it probably is but I don’t know)
