Ya’ll: This character is shit. He’s mean, stupid, and one dimensional. I hope the creators get rid of him.

Me: Actually it’s pretty easy to see what this character represents. If the writers are great then the potential for them is so amazingly high. I like this character because even with their quirks they are clearly on the path of developing into something much better.

Ya’ll: Oh my god I love this character so much! He has so much going on that’s not at surface level. He’s probably my favorite!

Me: Yeah I had this impression at the start. I could see where the creator was taking them and it’s why I could never bring myself to hate them. I tried to tell you back before we got all this new information about them.
