Protip: Handshaking
If someone goes to shake your hand and their grip is extremely weak, that’s not them being nice. That’s them sizing you up. Their guard is down because they don’t expect strength from you. Return with a firm handshake that is enough to show them your confidence but not too hard to crack their hand. This way you’re in a state of respectful equal-ness instead of being seen as inferior or domineering.
What? Citation needed? Oh I just made that up. It makes sense though, doesn’t it?
