Here's what you do. You draw for him a pony riding on top of a diamond dog, as a gift. Eventually he will browse the bowels of Derpibooru and recognize your art style. Then he'll see those things you drew that one time. Then he'll have lots of questions, and you can sit him down and give him "the talk".
