I hate gay people. Now before you get pissed off at me, hear me out.

My family is extremely Christian (or so they claim). So when we hear that Michigan is allowing gay marriage, they treat it like its the end of the world. Granted, I don’t give a fuck. Its not just because I’m not extremely religious but I feel people should do what they want so long as it doesn’t affect others negatively. Now I agree that gay parents will possibly raise gay children and increase the percentage of gay children in the community, but is that really such a bad thing? We already have enough straight people that can’t get work and cannot stop having sex which means more and more homeless kids. Having a dominate gay community doesn’t mean we’re going to lose the ability to procreate and it doesn’t mean you have to where double belts everywhere you go.

The reason I say I hate gay people is because I hate talking about them with my family. They always assume the worst. No joke my grandmother once said the apocalypse must be near if Michigan is turning into a new Sodom and Gomorrah. My mother thinks if gays get into political power they are going to FUCKING OUTLAW RELIGION. I’m just like “There is no conspiracy to kill straight Christian families. How is it any different from anyone else who doesn’t want to follow Christian beliefs? If they are not into religion then you can’t try to teach them otherwise and you shouldn’t let them infringe upon your beliefs either.” But I can’t say that because then my family thinks I’m an anti-jesus buttfucking xeno.

I have no problem with gay people but holy shit I hate the subject being brought up here.
