Mankey is in Fire Red though. I got one but he died to a critical. In the original they weren’t there since i had blue. But in this my only chance of beating Brock was mankey and when he died I just rushed Brocks gym for an all or nothing.

Funny thing is, we almost won. Dante’s (Pikachu) passive paralyzes and Cid (Charmander), Thomas(Pidgey) and Billy(Rattata) focused on decreasing accuracy then attack and then I tried using special attacks. The second pokemon wrecked us all before we could pull off the same tactic but it was fun while it lasted.

Also you HAVE to nickname each pokemon you catch in Nuzlocke.
