I’m starting to understand that one artist that said anything he works on for less than 4-6 hours is a sketch or doodle. because it usually takes that much time or more to draw something of your best ability. and anything less than your best SHOULD be considered doodles.
now it just naturally feels that way to me haha.

Apples you piss me off. Fuck you and your art.
But not in the kind of way where artist who know they are good and just flaunt it.
You piss me off because you’re right about everything. You’re like a mother continually pushing me to do better and I just kind of whine and complain cause I would rather play games instead of listen.
I think because of that, you’re one of my favorite artist and now I can’t wait to get my electricity back. I think I realize now that before I was a “mediocre artist and that everyone is better then me” and all that jazz. I knew the “I have to practice to get better”. But I think I’ve just been kind of saying that without putting the time into it.
Come this Friday or Saturday I’m going to try not to hold back. No more limiting myself to 1 or 2 drawings a day. More spending more then 1-2 hours one one piece.
So thank you. But not just Apple but all you artists out there. I always had the plan to get better but I guess I’m lazy and just lost a lot of the drive.
