We're playing with Flash at school right now (oh my god, I don't like motion tweening, it's just so.. meticulous)

in any case, all I can think of is this song/video for some reason as I "work"

I view motion tweening as I do stabilizers. They are there to save a lot of time but it doesn’t mean you should use them always. MLP is about 60-70%  Tween but they use it so well it doesn’t seem like it. There are some local shows where its about 95% tween and it looks absolutely horrible.

Frame by Frame being replaced by Tween is like saying HTML5 will replace Flash.  Fun fact, 3D animation is kind of like tweening so if you ever want to get into it, learn flash (Or the superior After Effects) first.
