It also doesn’t really work when your preacher of choice is the character who casually dropped the info that dragon parents kick out their kids at one of their most vulnerable moments for no concrete reason and this is never brought up again.
The worst part is that it would have made way more sense if they didn’t do this, but that’s what you get when you don’t consider the implications of what you are writing about an entire species for longer than two minutes because you simply don’t care.
