I love the way they broke this line up, because of COURSE Spock is most morally outraged by the violation of truth (logic logic logic), and of COURSE Bones is most morally outraged by harm done to innocent beings (first, do no harm), but they are equally outraged by the concept (as much as Spock would admit to being outraged by anything). 

It’s basically a one-line Spock and Bones character study.

And then Kirk immediately takes in the balance of the philosophical discussion and pinpoints the solution to the problem and how to take action to solve it.
