I got to give it to Matt. One of the funniest things my mom does as a public school teacher is start a year telling me how much she hates her new kids and her job and then watching her work over the years until she loves her class and job and doesn’t want to let them go. This is a woman who genuinely loves to teach and once she gets the kids to act right it’s enjoyable for her. “Why else would you take a shitty salary … unless you really loved to do it?”  Exactly Matt.
