I got both dogs in my team and I am overly satisfied with the nicknames.

Hachi is named after Hachikō

Laika is named after Laika

I love themes so the name isn’t the only thing about these two.

I was trying to make Hachi the SP Atk dog and Laika the ATK dog but Lycanrocs move pool wouldn’t support a sp.atk stat.

So instead Hachi specializes in Speed whereas Laika specializes in ATK.

Hachiko is remembered for his Loyalty so my Midday has it’s happiness and love at max and knows Return.

Laika however was killed on her mission so I figured it would be fitting that my Midnight be pretty peeved about it. Laika is the first pokemon I’ve taught Frustration to and its gonna be hard but I’m going to make sure she always hates me.
