I got what I want. 

Jangmo-O as a starter. 

Holy shit is this game much harder now I love it. I played a little bit with the Owl and its just so easy to shit on everything without trying. So I put it to the side and managed to get a Jangmo. With Jangmo-O as my starter you really have to plan, use items sparingly and switch pokemon at proper times. It makes everything way more engaging and really makes me feel like I have to know my shit. I mean I know he’s a pseudo-legendary but compared to the starters his early stats are just not up to par and that’s how I like it. He’s a Rocky story in the making. I want to see this little runt barely stand up to a kindergartners pokemon in the beginning and then grow to be an absolute killing machine. I’m also not going to make the mistake I did in Y where I recreated my starter team and went on from level 1. I’m not using any Pokemon not found in Sun until I beat the Elite Four. Last time I did that was Black and you HAD to do that for Black. You couldn’t bring your team over until you beaten the game.

I’ve also been giving the Pokemon exclusive to aloha Hawaiian names. So far I’m really enjoying Sun whereas around this time in Y I was already bored.. This little guy’s name is Kala which supposedly means Sun and/or Lady; princess. 

Which I think is super fitting.
