Major / Minor

(A.K.A. Furry “Persona Furganronpa Steins Gate)

TLDR version: I liked it. It was alright. It was engaging enough to distract me from working and keep coming back until it was over.

IGN Review version:

Personally Major / Minor wasn’t that good but it had potential.

It should have focused on a theme and setting instead of jumping between worlds. It should have cut down on the shitty character designs. The “twist” near the end was just convoluted and pointless. But my biggest complaint isn’t even the characters, or the visuals, or even the fact that you can accidentally skip dialogues because some choices appear at almost random times.

It’s the god damn talking and exposition. Like holy shit I get it’s a VN but its just too much talking about nothing. We didn’t need to see the antagonists’ plotline, we didn’t need to see half of the side conversations and god damn I don’t want to hear everyone’s tearjerker backstory.

Like holy shit like there’s a point in the game where every single person you favored in a seemingly pointless decision would just awkwardly bawl out their entire life story to stretch out the game duration

The game as a whole felt like Klace was trying to be what he was inspired by but missed the point. Mass Effect, Stein’s Gate, etc. There’s even a hint of Mirai Nikki in there. Those aren’t remembered because “LolScience and LolDecisions”. All of that stuff is mixed well to the point where the decisions seem to affect more than a string of dialogue being locked and the science doesn’t seemed to be just thrown into the mix to seem smart.

I give M/M a 7/10 because it tried and it was engaging but it just missed the mark in so many places.

MFK edition: Marry Max/Dazz, Fuck Sam/Nagi, Kill Jade/Phidget (He’s basically a girl)

MFK no homo edition: Marry Rocker/Singe, Fuck PB/Caylen(Holy shit Caylen was a guy all this time?) Kill Kila/Acheron/delete my save, reload, kill Kila again.

No but seriously look at this guy

This game has at least 3 fuccbois and I would every single one of them.
