I lied. As cruel as this ending is I feel its the one that fits my character perfectly. I know all three DAS heroes are different but in my mind these three heroes are linked in some kind of way besides their helmet. They’re all sadly, very selfish undead. This is all headcanon by the way.

My Chosen Undead sought to end the age he was strong enough to face the darkness. He overcame lords and wanted the fire to fade. He’s no martyr for the evil world he fought through and finds that everything must come to an end.

My Cursed one felt he wasn’t worthy to be a monarch but sought the crowns nevertheless. He searches for a way to stay unhollowed but like his predecessor (or decendant?) refuses to sacrifice himself to benefit those who were so cold to him.

My Unkindled one wanted to link the fire at one point but with all of the struggles he’s gone through he changed his mind. He’s almost a combination of the last two heroes. He wants the dark age to come around because everything must come to an end but he’s also tired of being told what to do altogether. He worships no gods and doesn’t even join a covenant for the entire game. He wants the power for himself and he wants to choose or at least strongly influence how the world will continue. He also wants to be sure that no matter who he has to betray, he’s strong enough to face it.

All three heroes can be heroic but in the end they look out for number one.
