Cut to two weeks later.

Just now I checked my messages because my boss left one.

There were 3 messages. One was a wrong number, one was from my boss and one was from the manager of the apprenticeship. Apparently someone couldn’t make it and there was a spot available. She was calling to ask if I was still interested in the position seeing as I was on top of the “wait-list”.

This call was sent…the 28th. 3 days ago.
