It’s night time so I can say it.

Someone on 8chan was upset with Night In The Woods because the creators decided to make one of the characters gay and took that as tokenism.

And I’m just like….well alright but what if they made Bea and Mae gay too.

I mean look at these two.  That would be adorable. 

Mae is the daughter of a miner who failed to make her family proud by being the only child to attend and drop out of college. She’s short tempered and has no direction.. Bea is a laid back smarty who probably would have been great. She absolutely excelled in school but circumstances forced her to stay in her hometown. She probably smokes because she knows she could be so much more than she is.

A hothead and a genius who used to be besties both took two separate roads and ended up back where they started.

They’re two childhood friends kind of lingering around in their depressing and boring adult lives and I’m just like…
