These 7 congresspeople just killed the most important LGBT anti-discrimination bill yet

With very little fanfare, Congress has just killed the LGBT community’s best hope to end employment discrimination against sexual orientation and gender identity.

ENDA, the Employment Non-Discrimination Act, was defeated by the Republican-led House Rules Committee Wednesday night by a party-line vote of 7-3, with the three Democrats dissenting.

Currently, you can be fired in 29 states based on your sexual orientation and in 32 states based on your gender identity.
