Well don’t mean to ruin it for you but Karl is actually poking fun at his guide who keeps saying everything he does is awesome. What he’s saying is you can’t call everything is awesome. He says it annoys him that he uses the word so much.

“Awesome. I wish he’d stop saying that. It annoys me. Everything’s awesome, I’ve go no point as to judge things by any more. We had a burger. "It’s awesome.” It’s a burger! Let’s calm down. Say its alright, its nice, it’s a good burger.“

So yeah he’s not saying everything is awesome. He’s saying people shouldn’t call everything awesome.  Context ruins everything!
