hi, do you have any tutorial for drawing broken noses? thanks :D

There isn’t much available, so here’s a quick diagram…

When the nose is broken, often the bridge appears to have been twisted. This flattens one side and creates a bump on the other. The shape of the nostrils are also affected; one being held open while the other is partly closed. Also, note the sort of “zigzag” shape of the nose in profile.

Uh, also, it seems that the nose most often leans toward the right side of the face. I think this is due to most people being right-handed, thus hitting the left side of the face. I don’t know, might be something to keep in mind, of you’re drawing someone who was hit by a leftie.

I’m supposed to be a semiproffesional artist who can understand and appreciate the style and presentation of drawing noses.
