Context: We’re in a shrine trying to open a set of doors. We have a Goliath sorcerer (me), human warlock, tiefling fighter/bard, human cleric, three gnomes (wizard, rogue, ranger), and a half-orc barbarian.
Me, the sorcerer: I push the doors.
DM: They don’t move.
Me: …How heavy are they?
DM: Uhh… let me check… About 700lbs.
Me: I can push that, yeah.
DM: I don’t think you can.
[Brief delay as I pull out the Goliath traits]
DM: Okay, that’s fair. It still doesn’t open for you.
Barbarian: I push the doors.
DM: It doesn’t open for you, either.
[Another brief delay as we try to puzzle this out]
So you mean to tell me the Evanescence song “Bring me to Life”, the Tay Zonday song “Chocolate Rain” and the first Shrek movie all came out on April 22 in different years? This all means something but I don’t know what yet. Very significant.
I talked to the comic vendor about Mina’s issue at Bronycon. Most people seem to hate it but I enjoyed it. I even bought it and haven’t opened it yet. Personally I like the idea of nerdy dragons. I mean these are their teenage years after all.
Also as a dragon Klondike didn’t look right with black and brown so I made him less saturated like the other dragons in the show/comics. His dragon name is probably Jumble or something.
Bonus(+18) because I didn’t notice this until I was lining this.
