H-how does it feel to have money?

Well I don’t have it yet but it should be here soon. And like I said when I get it i only get about 20% of it. The rest is going towards bills and debt. Which sucks

Heard some decent things about the Monoprice tablet display, and that’s around a 700 dollar price point.

Oh man this looks really good. Thanks furru! I’ll put it on my list!

Smartest thing to me would be to prioritize the tablet or the PS4, since you’re planning on getting all three eventually. That way you’ll sooner have one good productivity thing and one good play thing.

image

You could pick up a Surface Pro 2/3, and that’d cover point 1 & 2, but it’d only be good for light gaming. I’ve read it had decent performance with maya & after effects

I’d go with the tablet first, laptop second, and probably wouldn’t rank the PS4 until a price drop halfway through its life cycle

Wow I can’t believe you guys are trying to keep me productive. I’ll look into the Surface 3 but the fact that it doesn’t use Wacom drivers scares me. I mean this review says it’s “better” but Wacom is trusted so it just makes me nervous. When I was in uni we could rent a Lenovo Yoga which ran perfectly but so long as its returnable I can try new things.

Thanks guys!

TL;DR: What do I buy

Hey guys I have a question for you and I’d appreciate your answers.

I’m getting paid soon (finally) and while the majority of it is going towards debt and bills, I’m putting aside a portion of it to treat myself.

Here’s the problem. There’s 3 big things I want to buy.

1.  New Laptop (Productivity + Play)

I want to be able to render faster in Maya and After Effects as well as have processing speed and graphics compatible with newer games and such.

image

2. New Tablet (Productivity)

My current laptop is fine however when it comes to drawing which is my primary focus. I mean I use Maya and After Effects but not as often as I sketch. I would like to get a bigger intuos tablet or possibly a screen tablet if I can find a good one for less than 500 bucks.

image

3. PS4 (Play)

I can probably get a really good deal and update finally since I’ve no use for my 360. I could most likely get a ton of great games and since PS4 is the console I want with the most games I want on it, Wii U and Xbone don’t really compare (sorry) But at the same time if I could get a fast laptop for PC gaming AND productivity, I’d default to that.

image

My problem is that I don’t know which. I’d be willing to pay up to 800 bucks for a new laptop, tablet or console.

  • If I got a good price for a great laptop I wouldn’t need to buy a console.
  • If I got a good price for a tablet, I could go back to direct to screen drawing.
  • If I got a new console I’d be able to keep up with all the rad games coming out that I definitely want.

I’m going to get all of these eventually but right now I can only afford one. Suggestions?

When Poppy emerges from the ground (Page 46), Valente clearly says "Well, hey there, POPS.". Is it just an expression or did he recognize Poppy and played her game with the disguise?

poppy-opossum:

Valente was totally in the dark about everything that was happening.

That’s actually a bit disappointing. I was hoping he actually knew and was just having a giggle at Poppy’s pathetic attempts to disguise herself. Turns out he really was fooled. What a bird brain.

‘When I realised that no one had observed bears and wolves living near each other and becoming friends in Europe, I concentrated more and more on getting pictures to show what can happen in nature. Then I came across these two and knew that it made the perfect story.
