these are the most early 2000s nu metal motherfuckers i have ever laid my eyes on, and exactly what i would expect from the people who voiced ed edd n eddy
It’s really funny watching them work. Matt is very natural in his delivery. Sam has to pitch his voice a little but basically speaks normally while Tony is always high energy screaming into the mic putting real work into his character. They also suggests that the types of cars they drive reflects their actual characters too.
I imagine that Jodi’s upbringing on a pirate ship worries a lot of people. A little girl on a ship full of dirty no good criminals? How did she manage?
She was basically the little daughter / mascot of clan Urdas and members would actually fight each other if anyone made her scared or sad. She basically had the Disney Pirate experience and became a real part of the crew of bandits when she got old enough.
Since she was a child she’s been picking fights with them and they playfight and don’t take her seriously. It’s not until she grows up and actually starts suplexing members and accidentally throwing them off the boat that they take her seriously.
She had a loving “Family” who just happened to be criminals. I should really draw them all one day. The other day I was imagining them singing “Little Help From My Friends” Like that’s how goofy the crew would be together. Imagine Muppets/Hook pirates but they’re actually scary.
DM: As you fly playing your lute, a crowd of Kenku children follow you, flying by you, listening to your song and mimicking it’s noises.
Me: I start teaching them curses and swears.
DM: They create a racket with their newfound language. The neighbors are disturbed and the mother calls them in and looks up clearly upset with you.
I noticed a trend.
Please don’t die, everybody. I want you all to be friends. :‘c
