Animated movies are just getting too stupid for me. I can justify wanting to see most movies because of the graphics as I am an aspiring animator myself. But I can’t be happy for this. It’s not even the plot that annoys me. The plot could be fun. But the blatant lipsyncing of obviously existing songs just seems like an excuse to stuff as many music references in it as possible. I mean are you guys sure Seth McFarlane wasn’t on the writing team as well as a voice actor on this?

I mean Zootopia seems to do this also. Just stick a bunch of puns and parodies of existing products and stars for laughs. BUT IT’S NOT THE PLOT OF THE FUCKING MOVIE. THIS MOVIE SEEMS HARMLESS, CUTE AND IS OBVIOUSLY A MOVIE FOR KIDS
