Just started playing this. It’s alright.
Just like Armello I really wish the game would use more of its 2D assets. But that’s not to say the 3D isn’t gorgeous. The battle system is pretty easy but it’s just as easy to get cocky and slip up because of it. The game focuses on being a “choose your own adventure” storybook which means it’s heavily based on how you choose to progress. You can even choose what skills to upgrade depending on how you prefer to fight.
It feels like a webcomic turned game and the only thing that annoys me so far is how short the levels are. Hopefully that’s by design and the game has multiple endings.
