I was DMing 5th ed. My mid level players were in the throne room of a fire giant hidden behind his obsidian throne as the giant was barking orders at his Flind general to move on the Duke’s forces at the base of the volcano. I was quite expertly (if I do say so myself) role playing the CRAP out of the giant. Until the giant addressed the flind general by name - Thrashjaw.
The bard’s character looks at me and says, “if I ran that name through Google Translate a couple times, I bet Smash Mouth would be a result.”
The party immediately, as if on cue, launched into a reeeeally bad rendition of “All Star”.
I almost spite-TPKed them for that.
I just lost progress on an image i was working hard on because I was trying to shitpost and trace Black Star over that last post to complete the shitpost. It crased CSP
And CSP didn’t autosave even though it stops my progress several times TO autosave
