This was a pretty good read, for something that just came out, that reminds us that being able to act weird in unfamiliar places is a kind of white privilege.

Really glad to see more pieces about this. People need to realize how pervasive racism REALLY is and what that means every. hour. of a black person’s life.

As much as I’d like to disagree with this, i can’t. I’ve seen black men and women playing Pokemon Go but only in airports and tourist areas. Even though I tried to get a pokemon at my local park, I had to bring my dog because I was afraid of being mugged. I don’t have a smartphone I have this huge ipad and its just a bad situation. Not to mention the locations are up and down Linwood which everyone knows is a bad street even if you DON’T have a smartphone. I can’t see me playing this until I get a smartphone and my own car.
