i am FASCINATED by how Britney is so supportive and excited about their interest in Pokemon even though I have absolutely no doubt she is utterly confused by Pokemon
Honestly, Britney Spears seems like an excellent mom.
Why would she be confused about Pokemon? It was big when she was big. You couldn’t go anywhere without seeing something Pokemon related. And even if she didn’t know much about it then I’m sure her kids have told her all about it by now.
I would imagine that she was at least familiar with Pokémon before her kids got into it.
After all… she did have a song on the soundtrack for Pokémon The First Movie.

I was about to say…Britney is probably one of the most up to date celebrities that has been as into Poke'mon as the kids that grew up with her music. If anyone deserves to wear that shirt in the most unironic way possible, it’s her.

In Pokemon 2000 the prophecy literally says “That the world with turn to ash.” The characters find out that the prophecy didn’t mean destruction but rather the world would look to Ash Ketchum to save the world.
This was in the english dub. How did this play out in the original Japanese movie?
Also how come no one ever remembers that Ash has saved the world several times? The first movie gets a pass because their memories were literally erased but are the movies even canon?
