That feel when playing tabletop and your character hits a stride in development when something bad happens to them and you just want to smile because its just a roleplaying game while you’re with everyone.

But deep down you’re actually really deeply emotionally attached to your character to the point where you’re shaken when they almost die and probably could have prevented this hardship if you just stayed in character and do what they would do instead of what you felt was best and you lay awake at night feeling like you betrayed them.

My favorite part about the boss fight is the idea that it was conceptually created by a little kid.
